n 1865, a young Georges Favre-Jacot founded the Zenith watch company in Le Locle, Switzerland, inspired by a vision to create a self-sufficient watch manufacture. Throughout its long history, the Zenith watch company has obtained over 1500 awards, and created more than 50 distinguished mechanical movements, including the legendary "El Primero", widely acclaimed as one of the finest chronograph calibers in existence.  Today, Zenith is under the stewardship of the LVMH group, and its watches continue to gain in popularity with collectors around the world.  With a diverse range of exclusive timepieces that run the gamut from classical to extreme sport, the Manufacture Zenith lives up to its mythical name which denotes the highest point in the heavens.
